Rainy Day Lunch

The owner of the hotel had the restaurant make a special Hungarian lunch for the Americans today: caraway seed soup and mincemeat stuffed cabbage. It was excellent, enjoyed by all.

Outside of the food, the highlight of the afternoon was Owen-san (aka "The Gloved One") making an appearance in the restaurant, shown here with his number one fan:

It's raining right now, harder than at any point throughout the day.  They just kicked us out of the briefing "cage" and started putting down weather sheets.  Brad's being optimistic, putting the chance of a flight at 20%.

There were AMAZING wet burritos for lunch today and I think that Norma misses you. No meat wrapped in cabbage. Also, if you think that the Worlds organization needs an event webmaster, I am available for a modest fee. Just think -- I could follow you when you take these trips!!!

The food looks great! My grandmother was Hungarian and she would make cabbage rolls similar to those (I never ate them, don't like cabbage except in coleslaw), the other dish that she made was Chicken Poppicosh (don't know the correct spelling), if you see that on a menu try it..it's great! Real Hungarian goulash is good too, not like what we call Hungarian goulash at all!

Enjoy!
